COVID-19 Testing
What is the cost?
Free for members of Simply Medicine. $149 per test for non-members.
Where is the test performed?
It is offered as drive-up testing in your car at my clinic. At the physician’s discretion and availability, home testing may be offered for an additional travel fee.
What test do you offer?
COVID rRT-PCR test using an anterior nasal swab. This is a painless swab of the nostrils only, not a deep swab to the back of the nose and pharynx. The sample is processed at Quest Diagnostics.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Same day visits are available.
How quickly will I get my results?
In 48-72 hours.
Do you test children and adults?
Yes. I test both children and adults.
Do you offer testing for travel?
Yes, however there is no guarantee that results will be back in 72 hours.
Do you test symptomatic and asymptomatic individuals?
Yes. I test both symptomatic patients, as well as asymptomatic individuals who may be concerned about a recent exposure.
Where else can I obtain testing?
